Program Overview

The purpose of the Clinical and Health Psychology MA specialization is to train specialists who know and understand the forms of appearance, basic mechanisms, bio-psycho-social connections of healthy and pathological behavior and physical-mental functioning, the basic principles of diagnostics, as well as models of therapy and prevention and theoretical frameworks. During the training, the students get to know the methods of examining health behavior and disease behavior, as well as behavioral and mental disorders and their application. They practice the basic skills with which they can apply supportive treatment and the mobilization of healthy resources, coping interventions under professional supervision in various areas of patient care and health preservation.
