Program Overview

In the ceramic design courses, students get to know a wide range of silicate materials, from classic ceramic materials to concrete. They can try the different ways of shaping all these materials (craft techniques, design), building simple ovens, open-fire firing processes, and building autonomous plastics. The education is studio-centered, and the relationship with the instructors is personal. The studios are located in the buildings of the Faculty of Arts in the Zsolnay Cultural Quarter, in a beautiful historical and cultural environment.
