Program Overview

The Master of Business Studies in Accounting (International) is a one-year, full-time postgraduate programme designed to give students from diverse academic backgrounds a strong foundation in accounting and prepare them for a professional accounting career. Year 1 — Building Core Competence

In the first semester, you’ll develop key accounting capabilities with mandatory modules including Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, Business Research Methods and Taxation, giving you the confidence to interpret financial information and make informed business decisions. Year 1 — Advanced Application & Research

In the second semester you continue with Financial Accounting and Management Accounting, deepen your insights into Taxation and choose from electives like Business Law or additional finance electives depending on your interests. You’ll also complete a Dissertation, where you apply your learning to a structured research or applied project that reflects current accounting practice and prepares you for real-world challenges.
