Modules such as Business Analytics and Intelligence, Data Management for Business Analytics, and Quantitative Methods introduce students to frameworks for extracting and transforming data, relational and non-relational databases (SQL and NoSQL), and statistical forecasting techniques. Students also study Research Methods, developing skills to identify research questions and critically evaluate academic and professional literature.

In the second semester, the focus shifts to applied technologies and advanced analytics. Modules include Programming for Business Analytics, where students learn to automate processes and solve business problems using programming languages; AI and Emerging Technologies, covering machine learning, blockchain, IoT, and augmented reality; and Data Visualisation, which trains students to create interactive dashboards and communicate insights effectively. The semester concludes with IT Strategy and Governance, equipping students to evaluate corporate IT frameworks, AI governance, and compliance with regulations such as GDPR and the EU AI Act.
