Program Overview

With recognised international programme accreditation (from the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD), the MSc in HRM has a strategic and international focus to reflect the critical role of the HR function within modern organisations. HR professionals and managers today face multiple, and often conflicting, role requirements in a function that is increasing complex and challenging. These challenges include managing transformational change, globalisation, diversity and inclusion, balancing operational and strategic issues and managing competing demands from multiple stakeholders. The MSc in HRM is designed to assist organisations in the private, public, non-profit and semi-state sector in meeting these challenges and includes modules dealing with central issues such as leadership and change, managing conflict, retention and talent management, employment law, learning and development, International and contemporary issues in HRM and employment relations. An international qualification in Psychometric Testing is now also included in the programme.
