This programme equips students with a detailed knowledge and understanding of the law and market practice in the provisions of international financial services, a key component of the Irish economy. It is a valuable qualification for financial services lawyers and professionals who wish to enhance and update their knowledge of legal principles and market practice and for financial services industry participants for who knowledge of legal practice is a necessary component of their professional legal practice. The programme is a follow-on to the Diploma Progamme in International Financial Services Law, and is offered in partnership with the Law Society Finuas Network.
Must hold a law degree or an inter-disciplinary degree in which law was a major component Applicants must demonstrate that they have professional knowledge and/or experience of international financial services law to include: Law of credit to include security techniques related to financial collateral; Law and regulation of derivatives; Securitisation; Set off and netting of financial contracts. IELTS 6.5 (including a minimum of 6.5 in the reading and writing parts and no part below 6.0)
