Program Overview

The master's program in Physical Anthropology prepares students for advanced study and research in the field of Anthropology with a basis in anatomy, epidemiology, and neuroscience. Research is focused in three main areas: Paleoanthropology, Medical Anthropology and Genetic Epidemiology and the Biology of Human Populations. Please note that the student's curriculum must be approved by his advisor and the program coordinator.

A final minimum grade average of 80 in one of the following areas: Life Sciences, Natural Sciences, Exact Sciences, Medical Sciences (B.Med.Sc.), Pharmacology, Agriculture, Communication Disorders, Nursing, Physical Therapy, or Occupational Therapy, IELTS: 6.5, all test components need to be in the B2 range, TOEFL: 550 paper / 79 internet, No section below 52, No section below 17, Cambridge FCE/ Cambridge English: Advance (CAE)/ Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE): pass (A, B or C), Two letters of recommendation, from academic and/or professional sources, Personal essay, Resume/CV
