Energy engineering is the branch of engineering concerned with the design and management of systems and processes where energy is produced, transformed or used, in order to ensure the best use of the resources available with the minimum environmental impact.Energy systems are, for example, a large thermal power station, a photovoltaic panel, an air-conditioning and climate control equipment for residences and offices, a vehicle engine, airplane propellers, a fuel cell or simply a battery.
