Master of science in chemical engineering in Kaunas university of technology

The programme is created at the junction of science and industry in cooperation with the largest chemistry companies in Lithuania: AB Achema (specialises in the production of fertilisers) and AB ORLEN Lietuva (the largest oil refinery in the Baltics) to educate qualified technologists. Special focus is laid on the design of products and processes, management of technological systems, understanding of processes and equipment of chemical technology. Practical skills are acquired using one of the most advanced in the EU chemical engineering laboratory and analytical equipment.

University Bachelor (a minimum of a 3 years) degree certificate and its supplement (legalised by Ministry of Foreign Affairs, translated into English and notary verified); Minimum average grade (CGPA) > 60 % in each entry subject; Research activities, articles are not required but gives higher entry score. Entry score is calculated where the weight in % of each entry subject is as follows: 70% CGPA, 20% Research activities, articles, if any (portfolio for Architecture), 10% Motivation (skype interview), Proficiency in English: IELTS 6.0, TOEFL 85, CEFR C1, or equivalent, motivation letter followed by skype interview, Digital photo, Notary verified copy of passport or ID (for the EU citizens only).

Due to high demand of engineers and technologists, remuneration of the employees remains one of the highest. As a result, the programme graduates will have great prospects on their career path at various stages: Productions and quality management; Process engineering; Equipment manufacturing and technologies; Research and development.
