The programme is motivated by the insight that industries and economies are constantly changing: Innovation and entrepreneurship are at the heart of competitive advantage and economic growth in this modern world. The programme teaches students the analytical tools that are necessary for making the right decisions in this highly dynamic environment. This includes a good knowledge of relevant economic theories as well as skills for carrying out independent empirical research. The Master s specialisation consists of core courses, electives, seminars, and a Master's thesis distributed over five blocks of eight weeks. The core courses represent the fundamental paradigms of the Master s specialisation. They help students to get acquainted with a wide range of topics that are essential for Industrial Dynamics and Strategy and provide a solid background for attending the seminars.
