Program Overview

The track Philosophy of Law and Governance of the two year master Philosophy trains students to reflect philosophically upon the presuppositions and basic features of contemporary Western legal systems. The programme is interdisciplinary. General philosophical courses and specific courses in philosophy of law are combined with a student s own selection of legal courses. The students of this track usually complete simultaneously a one year master s degree in Law.

A Bachelor s degree from an accredited research university including at least three full years of academic study amounting to a minimum of 180 EC or equivalent, Curriculum Vitae, 2 Letters of recommendation, Letter of Motivation, Diploma(s), Transcript of records, IELTS: 6.5, TOEFL internet-based test: 92, Cambridge Advanced English (CAE): grade A, B or C, Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE): grade A, B or C
