Program Overview

The Master's program in Theology and Religious Studies leads you in three years (six years in part-time) to an academically trained theologian who is equipped to minister. Once you have completed the entire Master's program, you can apply for the ecclesiastical examination at the Mennonite Brotherhood in the Netherlands, the Restored Reformed Church, the Union of Baptist Churches in the Netherlands or the Remonstrant Brotherhood.

A Bachelor s degree from an accredited research university including at least three full years of academic study amounting to a minimum of 180 EC or equivalent, Curriculum Vitae, 2 Letters of recommendation, Letter of Motivation, Diploma(s), Transcript of records, IELTS: 6.5, TOEFL internet-based test: 92, Cambridge Advanced English (CAE): grade A, B or C, Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE): grade A, B or C, State Examination Dutch as a second language, programme II (NT2-II), VU-NT2 Department, CNaVT Certificate.
