Program Overview

You can go many ways with the Law Master's program at VU University Amsterdam. You learn to analyze and solve legal problems in a critical and scientifically sound way. You specialize in one jurisdiction (or follow two directions), but you always remain well educated. If you opt for the private law direction, you can, for example, always become a criminal lawyer. Once you have completed your Master's program, you can be deployed in any jurisdiction.

A Bachelor s degree from an accredited research university including at least three full years of academic study amounting to a minimum of 180 EC or equivalent, Curriculum Vitae, 2 Letters of recommendation, Letter of Motivation, Diploma(s), Transcript of records, IELTS: 6.5, TOEFL internet-based test: 92, Cambridge Advanced English (CAE): grade A, B or C, Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE): grade A, B or C, State Examination Dutch as a second language, programme II (NT2-II), VU-NT2 Department, CNaVT Certificate.
