1 Year On Campus Masters Program

Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam

Program Overview

The Master's programme Mediterranean Archaeology is based on the long, yet innovative, disciplinary traditions of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and the University of Amsterdam that has a strong focus on objects but also creators and users, and the many ways people, goods and ideas interconnect. A shared strength of both universities is the field research in the Mediterranean area through several projects in Italy, Greece and Turkey. There also is a strong connection with the Allard Pierson Museum, expressed in joint exhibition and research projects in which students can participate.
