The emphasis is on using scientific knowledge to detect and combat these complex forms of crime. Not only do you gain insight into offender characteristics, but you also learn how to develop effective strategies for the prevention and tackling of crime. Forensic sciences are part of the program, but you also look beyond the forensic aspect and deepen your investigation of criminality from a broader perspective.

A Bachelor s degree from an accredited research university including at least three full years of academic study amounting to a minimum of 180 EC or equivalent, Curriculum Vitae, 2 Letters of recommendation, Letter of Motivation, Diploma(s), Transcript of records, IELTS: 6.5, TOEFL internet-based test: 92, Cambridge Advanced English (CAE): grade A, B or C, Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE): grade A, B or C, State Examination Dutch as a second language, programme II (NT2-II), VU-NT2 Department, CNaVT Certificate.
