Program Overview

This master's program trains you to become a clinical development psychologist. Clinical developmental psychologists focus on the normal and abnormal development of children from birth to early adulthood. They contribute to the care of children and adolescents who have problems or a disorder. Clinical developmental psychologists work at institutions for mental and physical health care, in schools, in municipalities and other government institutions and in scientific and practice-oriented research.

A Bachelor s degree from an accredited research university including at least three full years of academic study amounting to a minimum of 180 EC or equivalent, Curriculum Vitae, 2 Letters of recommendation, Letter of Motivation, Diploma(s), Transcript of records, IELTS: 6.5, TOEFL internet-based test: 92, Cambridge Advanced English (CAE): grade A, B or C, Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE): grade A, B or C, State Examination Dutch as a second language, programme II (NT2-II), VU-NT2 Department, CNaVT Certificate.
