Program Overview

This specialisation focuses on sociological theories and research about the drivers of migration and the integration of immigrants in receiving countries. Immigrant incorporation is analysed in both structural terms (labour market positions of migrants and the problem of discrimination) and in cultural terms (specifically related to Islam and Muslims in Europe). Gender and migration is another topic that is addressed in the course.
