Master of teaching and education leadership in Unitec institute of technology

Develop the skills and knowledge that will prepare you for the classroom in this comprehensive and practical Masters programme. As an MTEL student you ll start with an initial intensive training programme. Following this you ll begin a full time teaching position in a secondary school for two years where you ll learn as you go. Here you ll teach while completing your Masters.

A Bachelor s degree or Level 7 Graduate Diploma in the same or similar discipline, Demonstrate an ability to succeed in the programme by providing evidence of successful outcomes you ve achieved in a work environment, A minimum of 8 credits at NCEA Level 2 in English (4 in reading, 4 in writing), Have achieved at least one English proficiency outcome in the last two years, Test scores: IELTS, TOEFL, PTE
