The Master of Nursing is an applied, clinically-focused programme characterised by advanced study in nursing and health sciences. You will develop advanced nursing knowledge, along with higher-level skills in critical analysis, constructive synthesis, and advanced practice and research within your specialty area. The programme has been specifically designed to prepare you as a nurse for advanced practice roles, including nurse practitioner and is approved by the Nursing Council of New Zealand as a 'Masters with a clinical focus, including the content for preparation for nurse prescribing'. Part of the requirement for the programme is the completion of a 90-credit thesis.
An undergraduate degree in a health science/health discipline with a B average or better; or B average or better in a Bachelor Honours degree or a Postgraduate Diploma in a health field (120 credits at level 8), Test scores: TOEFL, IELTS, PTE, CAE
