Philosophy is for thinkers and doers. It's about solving real-life problems, and applying intellectual rigour to how we understand and interact with others, society and the world. Studying Philosophy at Waikato will teach you how to learn, think and write clearly, argue vigorously, and question deeply held assumptions and beliefs.
A recognised bachelors degree with a B/B+ average or equivalent, Completed an honours degree or postgraduate diploma in a relevant subject area (at least 120 points), Achieved at least a B grade average in the subject you intend to take for this qualification, An IELTS Overall score of at least 6.5 overall (including at least 6.0 or better in the Writing band), or an iBT (Internet Based TOEFL) score of 90 with a Writing score of 22, Waikato Pathways College: a B grade or better at Level 8 in the Certificate of Attainment in Academic English, PTE Academic overall score of 65 with no less than 58 for each communicative skill
