Program Overview

The studies in the field of German Philology are aimed at people who like to learn German and are interested in the language and culture of German-speaking countries. We offer first and second cycle studies preparing for work wherever advanced knowledge of the German language and specialist knowledge of the culture of German-speaking countries and intercultural communication are required. Our graduates work in the broadly understood business: tourism, hotel industry, travel and translation agencies, state offices, national and international cultural institutions, foundations, editorial offices of all types of media, publishing houses, in the service sector, national and international institutions. We teach various types of translation techniques and prepare for work as a translator.
