Program Overview

"Speech therapy is an interdisciplinary field of study of an interdisciplinary character that combines linguistic, medical, psychological and pedagogical knowledge. Classes are conducted by academic teachers from the Faculties of: Humanities, Social Sciences, Medicine, Health Sciences and experienced speech therapists. The training takes into account the practical aspect (external internships, speech therapy workshops, some of which take place in kindergartens, schools and hospitals). Students can develop interests in research clubs (""Speech Therapy Laboratory"" and ""Salve Verbum""), as well as participate in the work of the Student Speech Therapy Clinic. The direction has a modernly equipped speech therapy room with a Venetian mirror, which enables observation of speech therapy work in contact with the patient. Students are licensed to practice as a speech therapist teacher,"
