By studying biology you will gain extensive knowledge in a wide variety of biological disciplines, based on a broad foundation of exact sciences. By conducting your own research, you will develop knowledge and skills in the structure and functioning of living organisms and their role in natural ecosystems. You will learn to conduct field research on different groups of organisms and to develop and implement environmental and nature conservation programs. You will gain knowledge in the field of inventory and valorisation of natural resources, monitoring methods and the performance of environmental expertise and environmental impact assessments of investments.
