Program Overview

Our graduates are engaged in the development and research of the fundamental systems of modern ships (ships): autonomous ship (ship) automated power plants; multi-shaft multi-engine electric propulsion systems; unified electric power systems of high power with distribution of electricity on alternating and direct current; energy storage and conversion systems based on static converters. Particular attention is paid to the development and practical implementation of control algorithms for shipboard automated electric power systems and electric propulsion systems, as well as issues of electromagnetic compatibility and power quality in autonomous ship (ship) electric power systems.
