Program Overview

The area of scientific interests of the department is Microwave electronics (or microwave electronics). This is a field of science that studies the mechanisms of converting the energy of power sources into the energy of electromagnetic waves in the microwave range (MICROWAVE). For such a conversion, the processes of energy interaction of flows of charged particles (charge carriers) with MICROWAVES in vacuum, in plasma and in a solid body are used. These processes underlie the principles of operation of the entire modern element base of microwave electronics - microwave electronic devices, circuits and devices of various functional purposes and the widest application.
