Masters in Intelligent systems for protection, automation and control of power systems

This program examines current trends in the field of relay protection and automation, as well as how to apply modern software methods to solve both current and future challenges in the field of automation of the electric power industry. The student acquires knowledge and skills of organizing information exchange both within a single device and at the level of an electric power facility. Separately, the issues of describing the logic of relay protection and automation in various programming languages using the capabilities of these languages are considered. The acquired knowledge and skills allow the student to manage the process of designing digital substations, as well as to carry out a scientific search for new hardware and software in the field of automation.
