Program Overview

The main direction of the master's program is the technology of creating laser devices and systems based on the achievements of quantum electronics. The combination in quantum electronics devices of such unique characteristics as high coherence and monochromaticity of radiation, high stability and reproducibility of the wavelength, high directivity and the ability to concentrate high energy on small areas, made it possible to revolutionize measurement technology, optics, technology for recording and transmitting information, and monitoring environment, materials processing, medicine and biology. In the process of learning, undergraduates have the opportunity to study these technologies in detail and become in-demand specialists in these areas of science and technology.
