Program Overview

The Master of Science in the field of Medicine Research by coursework and research report is a 1 year full-time or 2 years part-time degree. Please note there are no block-release or after hours lectures. Part-time students attend normal lectures.In addition to obtaining demographic research training, students will learn the contemporary and emerging health issues in Africa and its consequences on development issues. Students will graduate in a specialised field that will enable them to compete with graduates of Public Health degrees in the job market.
