Program Overview

The Department of Chemical, Life and Energy Engineering is newly established in the first semester of 2011 in response to the demands for the development of alternative energy due to the globalization of energy resources and the depletion of energy resources. Recently, as climate change agreements and weaponization of natural resources have been highlighted internationally, there is a pressing need for greenhouse gas abatement technologies, abatement policies and advanced human resources related to energy resources. The Division of Chemical, Life and Energy Resources, which is a fusion science of various disciplines, consists of chemical engineering, materials, electricity, machinery, environment, biotechnology and renewable energy. Energy materials, and renewable energy, and majoring in the field will play a pivotal role in the renewable energy industry both at home and abroad.
