Program Overview

Materials handling in materials engineering can be roughly divided into polymer materials, metal materials, inorganic materials, biomaterials, and electronic materials. In order to maximize the desired performance from these materials, both macroscopic understanding and microscopic understanding of the material are required at the same time. Judgment of performance is possible only with a macroscopic understanding of the material, and in order to achieve its performance, a microscopic understanding of the material for structure-process-property is possible. In material engineering, processing and microstructure are controlled to obtain desired properties. These three are called microscopic understanding of materials, and the deep relationship between structure - process - The performance of the macroscopic understander is dependent. That is, when the micro factors are maximized, the material exhibits the maximum performance.
