Technical University of ValenciaThe European Master in Earthen Architecture and Construction (TERRA) is an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s programme delivered by a consortium of four European institutions: the University of Minho in Portugal, the Universitat Politècnica de València in Spain, the National School of Public Works (ENTPE) in France, and the University of Florence in Italy. The programme focuses on sustainable earthen construction, material innovation, and the conservation of architectural heritage.
Curriculum Structure:
Year 1: Students study earthen architecture and building culture, earthen materials, functional design and sustainability, structural analysis and design, and conservation of earthen buildings. The programme also includes an integrated project and an individual master’s dissertation. Students complete coursework and dissertation research at different partner institutions.

This is an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master program; coursework and dissertation must be completed at different partner institutions (mobility is mandatory).
Submission of a letter of motivation (between 1,500 and 3,500 characters, including spaces).
Submission of a detailed Curriculum Vitae in European format (Europass).
Two recommendation letters to be submitted directly by the applicant through the application portal.
Selected applicants must pay a refundable €250 deposit to secure their enrolment spot.
