Masters in Contemporary History

1 Years On Campus Masters Program

Complutense University of Madrid UCM

Program Overview

The Master, consequently, has not been designed to teach contemporary history, but to begin the task of building historiographic knowledge. In his courses, more importance is given to procedures than to conclusions; to the method than to the accumulation of content. Therefore, it is expected that at the end of the program the student will be able to ask the relevant questions in relation to a research topic, pose the pertinent questions, contrast different answers and find a solution supported by empirical evidence.
