Program Overview

The present Master's Degree in Hospital Clinical Optometry by the Complutense University of Madrid aims to provide the Optometrist Optician with the specialized training necessary to be able to develop the specific tasks of their profession in both public and private Ophthalmology centers with a high level of specialization, knowing in depth the ocular pathologies and their exploration methods. The aim of this Master is to train and provide a high qualification to graduates in Optics and Optometry in care tasks typical of these professionals in hospital Ophthalmology services. For this, the Master must train them to attend, in collaboration with the ophthalmologist, to patients with different types of pathologies and of any age, exercising preventive work, of early detection and optometric treatment within multidisciplinary teams
