Especially the formation and / or consolidation of religious, cultural and / or linguistic minorities, among which the Muslim minority stands out, poses new challenges and situations that today occupy a prominent place on the European agenda. For this reason, it is increasingly common for governments to call for research that helps, not only to orient policy towards the Islamic world, but also to improve relations with Muslim communities in our societies. In this context, interest in studies on Islam and its communities in Europe is increasing day by day.
