Program Overview

In the symphony orchestra and in different chamber music contexts, you and the other students work together for two years. By taking a long-term approach in various forms of ensemble, you have the opportunity to develop not only as an instrumentalist but also as a team player. An independent project is also included, where you choose a creative and artistic topic to delve deeper into. You will study in Artisten, a building full of artistic programmes and research in the middle of Gothenburg.

Bachelor degree of arts in music or equivalent, and musical knowledge and skills that are assessed at the admission test and are the basis for selection, Proficiency in English: English 6 (IELTS-6.5 (no section below 5.5),TOEFL PBT-4.5 in the written test with an overall score 575, TOEFL iBT score of 20 in the written test with an overall score of 90,Cambridge English Certificate in Advanced English, Person PTE Academic-62 (writing 61))/English B from Swedish Upper Secondary School or the equivalent level of an internationally recognized test, Bachelors degree or equivalent in the form of final and official diploma and transcripts,Selection of eligible applicants is based upon entrance tests
