The Master s programme Interventions in Childhood offers an interdisciplinary education to provide effective interventions for children in need of support for their development, learning and functioning in everyday lifebeyond what is provided to all children. The programme is based on an ecological perspective on child development, learning, and functioning. A critical perspective focusing on the individual, the environment, and their interrelationship, is emphasized.

The program is designed to prepare students for further education in research and leadership roles in child care and preschool, school, early intervention/habilitation, special education, child healthcare, social services and the equivalent.
