Program Overview

The 2-year Master s Programme Social-Ecological Resilience for Sustainable Development aims to enhance students knowledge of the complex interactions between social and ecological dynamics at different scales; particularly ecosystem management and governance in the context of change and uncertainty. Students are introduced to different research approaches and methods for studying coupled social and ecological systems. The aim is to provide students with insights into problem-driven transdisciplinary environmental research.

Additional Information & Requirements

Should have Bachelors degree and experience, within or outside the degree, in a field relevant to the program. Swedish upper secondary school course English B/English 6 or equivalent, A Bachelors degree from an accredited institution of higher learning, corresponding to at least 180 credits ,Certified copy of your complete list of grades, English langyage skills: IELTS score of 6.5 and no section below 5.5, TOEFL iBT: Total score of 90 with minimum score of 20 in written test, Michigan English Language Assessment Battery-Minimum score of 90, Pearson Test of English-Score of 62 (writing 61), University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations (Cambridge ESOL), copy of the page in your passport with your personal data and photograph, or a similar identification document, Grades of academic courses, motivation letter, research ideas for thesis and the relevance of previous studies in relation to the programme
