Program Overview

The Master s Programme in Language Sciences with a Specialisation in Baltic Languages (Latvian or Lithuanian) provides an in-depth two-year course of study of the core areas of Baltic linguistics: phonology, syntax, and semantics, with optional courses in, for example, sociolinguistics and language contacts. You will also gain interdisciplinary perspectives through studies in Baltic cultural, literary and social history.

Should haveBachelor of Arts or equivalent in Baltic Languages, incl. a degree project in Baltic Languages, English 6 or equivalent, A Bachelors degree from an accredited institution of higher learning, corresponding to at least 180 credits ,Certified copy of your complete list of grades, English langyage skills: IELTS score of 6.5 and no section below 5.5, TOEFL iBT: Total score of 90 with minimum score of 20 in written test, Michigan English Language Assessment Battery-Minimum score of 90, Pearson Test of English-Score of 62 (writing 61), University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations (Cambridge ESOL), copy of the page in your passport with your personal data and photograph, or a similar identification document
