Masters in conservation with specialization in conservation of cultural heritage objects in University of gothenburg

The Master s Program aims to offer a specialization within the field of conservation following ENCoRE requirements. The specialization will alternate every second year, beginning with conservation of paintings. The program educates professionals through an interdisciplinary approach based on innovative inquiry and research. The degree incorporates professional codes of ethics and scientific methods of analysis to assess the condition of paintings and to implement preventive and remedial methods for conservation.

Bachelor's degree in Conservation. Students with equivalent education may, after examination, be admitted to the program, Proficiency in English: English 6 (IELTS-6.5 (no section below 5.5),TOEFL PBT-4.5 in the written test with an overall score 575, TOEFL iBT score of 20 in the written test with an overall score of 90,Cambridge English Certificate in Advanced English, Person PTE Academic-62 (writing 61))/English B from Swedish Upper Secondary School or the equivalent level of an internationally recognized test, Bachelors degree or equivalent in the form of final and official diploma and transcripts
