Ecotoxicology is concerned with the environmental impact of these substances. It aims at characterizing, understanding and finally predicting the effects of toxic chemicals on plant and animal populations, ecological communities and whole ecosystems. As such, Ecotoxicology is the scientific basis for environmental frameworks such as for example the REACH regulation, the Water Framework Directive or the Marine Strategy Framework Directive.
Bachelor of Science (or equivalent) from a university including at least 90 credits in biology and chemistry (with a minimum of 30 credits in biology and 30 credits in chemistry). The course ES1305, 15 credits (or ES1303, 7.5 credits + ES1304, 7.5 credits) can be counted within the requested 90 credits above, Proficiency in English: English 6 (IELTS-6.5 (no section below 5.5),TOEFL PBT-4.5 in the written test with an overall score 575, TOEFL iBT score of 20 in the written test with an overall score of 90,Cambridge English Certificate in Advanced English, Person PTE Academic-62 (writing 61))/English B from Swedish Upper Secondary School or the equivalent level of an internationally recognized test, Bachelors degree or equivalent in the form of final and official diploma and transcripts
