Logic is traditionally defined as the study of formal aspects of valid reasoning, but today many logicians see logic as a more general study of formal systems and their applications. The conceptual frameworks and tools developed by pure research in modern logic have found many applications in diverse disciplines studying formal languages and systems, e.g., software engineering and computational linguistics.
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 180 credits or an equivalent degree is required in one of the following areas: Logic, Theoretical philosophy, Computer science, Mathematics, General linguistics, or equivalent, Proficiency in English: English 6 (IELTS-6.5 (no section below 5.5),TOEFL PBT-4.5 in the written test with an overall score 575, TOEFL iBT score of 20 in the written test with an overall score of 90,Cambridge English Certificate in Advanced English, Person PTE Academic-62 (writing 61))/English B from Swedish Upper Secondary School or the equivalent level of an internationally recognized test, Bachelors degree or equivalent in the form of final and official diploma and transcripts, selection is based on (i) a Personal Letter, and (ii) grades from previous relevant higher education
