MSc in Biology in Ecology and Evolution

2 Years On Campus Masters Program

Zurich Swiss Federal Institute of Technology ETH

Program Overview

The diversity of organisms is the central theme in Ecology and Evolution . The study of species and populations of plants, animals, fungi, microbes and ecosystems aids to understand the environment and evolutionary development of single components and their interactions with one another. This awakens and deepens the understanding of the interactions between various organisms and the environment. Examples of interactions between various organisms that are of great interest include pollination and proliferation of plants, interactions between plants and the environment, the origination and conservation of species and the coexistence of various species (symbiotic and/or parasitic).
