Program Overview

The master's program of the National Taiwan University Linguistics Institute was formally established in August of the Republic of China, and the doctoral class was formally established in August of 1991. Since its establishment, the Institute has devoted itself to the teaching and research of various academic fields of linguistics, carried out multi-type research projects, and promoted the study of language research in the South Island. It has gradually become a research institute that studies Chinese and South Island languages with cognitive linguistic theories.
