It currently has bachelor's, master's and doctoral programs. There are about 30 full-time teachers, and the teachers are professional and excellent. The curriculum and research scope are mainly in the three categories of Chinese history, world history and Taiwan history. The mission of the department is to train professional teaching and research talents. On the other hand, the students of the bachelor class can learn on the basis of history, which will help them to further their studies or engage in other careers. Therefore, in the concept of teaching, taking into account the professional training of history and humanities education, history is not only a profession, but also the core of humanities education at National Taiwan University.
