Program Overview

The predecessor of the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Taiwan University was the dental science classroom of the Taipei Emperor Affiliated Hospital established in 1910. In 1955, it began to enroll the first university students in the Department of Dentistry; after Guo Shui, Director Hong Yuqing, Director Chen Kunzhi, Director Guan Xueyu and the Department With the joint efforts of the teachers, the Master Class of the Institute of Dental Sciences was finally established in 1988, and a doctoral class was added in 1991. In 1996, it was renamed as Clinical Dental Medicine Research Institute and in 2001 began to recruit master's degree students. Over the past 20 years, there has been considerable progress in all aspects of teaching, service and research.
