Program Overview

Founded in 1962, the Institute was dedicated to the basic research of native snake venom protein and established the international reputation of Taiwan snake venom protein research. In addition to tradition, the teachers in the institute have made great breakthroughs and progress in the fields of cardiovascular pharmacology, neuropharmacology, cell signaling, cancer and stem cells. At present, through cooperation with scholars and experts in related fields, the mechanism of cell physiology and pathological information transmission is cut, and cells are analyzed from the molecular level and even to system organisms. Expectations can break through research bottlenecks and pay for more brilliant research results.
