Program Overview

The Master of Public Health (MPH) program is the first interdisciplinary course at Taiwan University, integrating institutional resources to develop public health practitioners. The master's degree program of this course is for up to 6 years, and the minimum graduation score is 36 credits. It is divided into basic core courses of public health, compulsory courses in related fields, elective courses in related fields and internship courses. After completing the basic core curriculum of public health, students will propose the internship course objectives under the guidance of the instructor. After the written approval and public oral report, the 200-hour internship course will be started. Each year, the degree program center coordinates the departments of each institution to provide relevant courses for students to study. In 2017, the Taiwan University School of Public Health, affiliated to the Public Health School, was the first college outside of North America to pass the American Public Health Education (CEPH) certification.
