Program Overview

This department is the largest philosophical center in Taiwan. Many teachers have obtained doctoral degrees in internationally renowned universities. The teachers specialize in Chinese philosophy, Indian philosophy and Buddhism, European philosophy and contemporary Anglo-American philosophy. Especially in Chinese philosophy, the department is global. The Center for Important Philosophical Research. The students are very diverse and have foreign students and overseas students from Europe, Asia and the Americas. Both the teaching and research departments are developing towards internationalization.
