In order to cultivate basic biology talents and cooperate with the development of national biotechnology, the Department of Biology of the University was established in the Republic of China in 1976; the Master's Program of the Institute of Life Sciences was established in the 81st year of the Republic of China, and the Ph.D. was established in the 86th year; In the 86th school year, the name was changed to the Department of Biological Sciences.
