The master's program of this department was established on August 1, 1995. The course design is divided into two parts: theory and drama. The theory group focuses on history, text, theory, aesthetics and so on to cultivate the future. Drama researchers, as well as teachers of middle and higher education; the creative group focuses on script creation, human roots, aesthetic literacy, etc., to cultivate creative talents in the future drama and related fields, as well as middle and higher education teachers. Master students can choose academic orientation and pursue a master's degree in Master of Arts.
